Hello & Welcome

I have been involved in the healing arts for over 25 years. Through the years I have worked with professional athletes, Cirque du Soleil performers, high level executives, teachers, gold medal Olympians, nurses, stay at home moms, cancer survivors...and so many incredible clients!

Throughout this time I have consistently pursued continuing education to support my clients and my curiosity. This meant traveling the world to learn from some of the best teachers in massage and bodywork. And while the modalities I studied varied, it confirmed what I always knew- the body is not made up of parts and pieces and shouldn't be treated as such. Everything is connected and the human body is truly miraculous!

I am someone who is hypermobile so I can't receive a generic massage, my body doesn't respond well to certain types of massage. I know what it feels like to vocalize my needs in a massage and for them to be ignored, this makes the body feel unsafe. I understand that every body has a different story, so every body gets its own session tailored to their needs. Communication is important to me, and ensuring my clients are comfortable and receive the work they are seeking judgment free is my priority.

 

I have found that while people come in for many different health reasons they typically have one thing in common, stress. We are living in a time of over stimulation by phone, tv, podcasts, emails, texts (you know what I'm talking about), so it's important to me to give someone 60, 90, or 120 minutes to unplug and just be.
